First Job in Current Field: Worked for my fathers company Canton Fence Co. from the time I was 11yo to 22yo, working my way up from a laborer to running the wood/metal fabrication shop. Left their for 4 years to work in high-rise construction as an Assistant Project Manager
How Did You Get Into the Business: I’ve been obsessed with carpentry and building since I was a child, I “sold” my first job to my art teach, an 10x10 garden shed when I was 15yo, I spent 2 weeks building it with the short list of tools I owned. I kept that going on till I eventually started NS Builders, one shed turned into another, turned into other carpentry projects, into remodeling projects, to large scale remodeling projects to recently building our first ground up new construction.
What's Your Company's Newest or Most Noteworthy Product or Service: Our extreme dedication to producing at the very best we can while always challenging design and being open and willing to try something new.
Keys to Success: Positivity and Willingness.
If You Had to Choose a Different Profession, What Would It Be: I would probably get into the world of custom car fabrication. It’s a hobby of mine that I don’t put nearly as much effort into as I would like.
Are You Involved In Any Other Organizations Besides BRAGB: NAHB
What's Something Most People Don't Know About You: My age.
Hobbies: Since having kids, I would consider spending time with them my biggest hobby, I love playing with them, doing arts and crafts, running around the playground. Makes me feel like a kid again.
Favorite TV Show Currently on the Air: I could do without TV, but Grand Designs on Netflix is a binge worth show.
Favorite Sports Team: Not a “sports-guy” but… Patriots.
Favorite Novel: Not really a Novel, but just completed Tim Ferris Tools of the Titans, so that’s pretty high up there for recent reads.
Favorite Film: Wolf of Wallstreet, just because of the huge amount of optimism he instilled in people, leading to enormous success, ignoring the legal issues that ultimately ruined him.
