COMMITTEES

By getting involved in a Committee you can focus your attention on aspects of the industry that either cater to your own business or fuel a particular passion.
 

Associates Committee:

  • The Associate's Committee encourages associate member involvement in all aspects of the association and takes advantage of working with other councils and committees to introduce their products and services through networking, sponsorship, education, and other opportunities that promote members doing business with other members in complementary areas of our industry.

 

Advanced Building Concepts Committee:

  • The Advanced Building Concepts Committee provides a forum for the ever-changing world of technology within the building and remodeling industry. From Complete Home Automation Integration to Building Information Modeling (BIM), to Green and Healthy Homes, the home building industry offers comprehensive systems to enhance the process of construction and the livability of a home. The ABC offers educational programs for members to increase awareness about techniques, systems, and products that offer innovative solutions for builders and remodelers

Education Committee:

  • The Education Committee is charged with developing and overseeing educational programs including the Builders Licensing Course and other CEU courses. The committee focuses on professional and workforce development education and training offering. A safety subcommittee dedicated to establishing timely safety training and information is implemented.
     

Events Committee:

  • The Events Committee plans and oversees the Association’s annual outings, such as the winter ski trip and the summer golf event. Members are invited to participate in committee activities from planning, fundraising, sponsorship, and volunteering to assist the staff at the events. The success of our events is an important building block of the association.

Membership Committee:

  • The Membership Committee is charged with the recruiting of new members and the retention of current members. Working with the Executive Officer and the Director of Member Services, the committee establishes membership goals and promotes campaigns and programs designed to grow and maintain membership including; new member recruitment programs, membership drives, and recognition of outstanding achievement by individual members.

PRISM Committee:

  • The PRISM Committee, a subcommittee of the Sales and Marketing Council, oversees the bi-annual PRISM Awards. PRISM, an acronym for Prestigious Results in Sales and Marketing, is the Greater Boston area’s most important awards program for builders, remodelers and associated professionals. The committee is responsible for the planning, marketing and sponsorship initiatives pertaining to this exclusive event.
